Not half price but my Local Main VW dealer has it for £39.00 at the moment  :happy2:.Don't know if it's country wide tho.

As long as the stealers are taking part of the fixed price service thing for 3 year old cars the MOT's are £39  :happy2:

Last year they were £30.  The old VAT increase seems to have a disproportionate effect on the fixed price items at the dealers .. they certainly took advantage of that wheeze!  :mad:

My local VW approved garage charge £35. Or in n out services charge £35 and give a free valet interior and exterior for police and friends of. (though I ask them to never bother cleaning the outside)

VW charge £39 at the minute.. But FREE for Gulf..

I had it in for the 30,000 mile service.. Told them NOT to do the MOT,twice.(my mate has a indy garage,rather give him my dosh.)

They rang me to say the service was complete and the MOT was done.. What?.. I asked them why when I insisted on them not doing it.They said the Tester read the form wrong and went ahead with it..

It passed and VW footed the bill.

oh i havent done that just used them last year for an oil change and filters etc and stamp and they gave me a MOT a couple of months later. Ive just had a service and need an MOT in March so we shall see, cross fingers for a freebie! 39 quid isnt too bad though so will probably use them anyway  :happy2:
