Such behaviour brings Muslim people into disrepute. It's fundamentally a very peaceful and tolerant religion. The programme illustrated the way that fanatics breed hatred and conflict between peoples of different beliefs and religions.

Same as we do. Ie not burning homosexuals and killing heathens.

....This is true. Just look at what some Catholics have done. However, the filmed evidence of hitting children in that prog goes further than just negative press. Also, the 'preaching' and encouragement of fanatical behaviour is extremely dangerous and not true to a pure religion. It's good that such things are exposed. They were even condemning other Muslims!

Well said. It's more sensationalistic and draws a larger audience if one focuses on the crazies though. Then unfortunately we all get tarred with the same brush.

That's looked interesting but I haven't seen it yet, is it good? Might catch on the 4od service.

....It's truly excellent but you must see the first episode to make better sense of it. Ep2 was shown last Sunday. It really is so far very objective and brilliant the way it integrates the story of the girl's grandfather out there after WW2 with the current Israeli-Palestine conflict. I tend to be mostly pro Palestine than pro Israeli in these matters and I am impressed about how the story shows several points of view. There's also plenty of drama and a bit of romance.
