R32 front & rear brakes are being fitted tomorrow  Then I'm leaving it as it is  It'll be finished finally.

It's never ever finished, something else will pop up  :signLOL:

Seem to have read this comment many times since joining this forum - oddly, it never sticks

Stunning car and I love what you've done so far. Looking forward to seeing the future mods...

Thanks. Not sure if there is anything else I wanna do. Maybe a decat? Apart from that I'm happy with it the way it is.

Was thinking about a decat myself (to go with my ITG) and then go stage 2, but have read various posts about limp mode and lots of lights on dash, which has put my off a little...

Would R-tech offer a stage 2 map that would resolve the probs???

Here's a pic on the rollers

And here's my new brakes. Really pleased with them. Had the remap for 2 weeks & the brakes for 1 week

Also added a DSG badge to the rear, not sure why but I like it.

GTI going...

Got a few more bits to get fitted now  :pomppomp:

- Spare downpipe for chopping up
- Boost gauge
- Boot pop parts

Anyone got VCDS in the Bristol / Bath area?

Just over £50 new I think. I got the struts used so saved a bit. It might be the same but I don't know for sure  :happy2:

Std struts not strong enough to give it the initial 'push'? Anyone point me to a thread / guide?   :drinking: :drinking:

R-tec's tiny roller?

Tiny? :-(
Huge Bosch LPS097 eddy current dyno with 12" rollers.. Try find a set bigger. It a setup Which Cosworth northampton used to use in the 90s.

Wish it was tiny as I could do mobile remaps and tow the dyno along lol. :-)
