my mate just sold his EVO 8.  He had it running about 400Hp,

He said he could deal with the fuel economy, but paying 300-400 for a service every 3-4 months was killing him, all the money he never spent each month went into the servicing and running costs for the car.  He's just bought a 330i instead

i was talking to a couple of guys a malton car show and they had some fancy evos and they were on there 4th or 5th engine re-builds costing 5 to 7 grand each time now how much of that was true not sure but even still not good and average 10 to 15 mpg driving normally.... that said they look awesome and i bet they have a good laugh blowing them up ha

dave at ads preston has a 4x4 1.8t stage 2+, in estate version, i had it for a couple of days and its a real weapon.

Its FSi, not TFSi so you would also have to swap the turbo.

I dont think it would be too hard to just get a rear diff with frame, gearbox and prop and just make the vRS into a 4WD.

If I keep mine for a while then it will go 4WD.
