Took my car into Stoke VW today, had a brake fluid change done at the same time as the ignition coil recall. They only had 3 coils in stock though, even though 'the computer said there was 4' -

 So as a goodwill gesture they only charged me £35 for the brake fluid instead of the usual £59! Cant complain really!  :congrats:

They're having a delivery of coils tomorrow so going in after work to get it done.

Done today vw Glasgow Jordanhill. All parts in stock.

Car seems a little keener.... Perhaps coillette placebo is winking at me.

Topped up washer fluid and oil for free.

No complaints (for a change)  :congrats:

I'm also booked in for Saturday morning at Wolvo VW, told me they would do whilst I wait within 30 mins.
At least I know that's not enough time for them to get a sponge on it too!

Looking through my service history book theres a section right at the back "workshop comments" where they have stamped it with date and mileage and the product recall number 28fs

will have to check this  :happy2:
