ah ok not Revo.

for info...mine at stage 1 has AFR of 11.8:1 going down to 11.2:1 at 6500 rpm.

strange how yours gets leaner as revs increases..normally it should get richer as to prevent meltdown indeed by adding fuel to cool things abit.

but lean = power and potential big bang

Last RR result was AFR of 12:1 @ 2.5k rpm to 12.5:1 @ 6.5k rpm.. And that was at the end of Jan

IMO 12.5 at 6.5k is still lean...
Without traction power is nothing!

My understanding is that as long as it's getting richer the higher it revs the better.

I can only speak for my experiences but leaner further up will eventually mean big bang.

If you can speak to Will @ P-Torque as he has a very good reputation.  :happy2:

Yea, I plan to speak to Will  :happy2:

I'm not overly concirned TBH as its not overly lean. I'll do some logging to see whats what.

That's how i see it too Hedge. But Damo's map seems to get leaner as it goes up the rev range! which is a bit worrying in all honesty. Especially if you run lower octane fuel, you're opening up the chance of detonation and potential piston meltdown!

Damo,

Do you have any boost logs? Does it stay steady or does it climb as rev rises?

Boost is in this graph..

I'll pop some V-Power in and do some logs over the next few days..

But TBH, Paul was doing his best to say that there was a problem with most of the 2.0TFSI's anyway  :signLOL:

All my Superchips graphs on my Ed30 got richer further up the rev range.

Even my R32 did the same although that was rich all the time.  :ashamed:

Aha. Now we see. That's not really the idea behind RR days imho and a bit out of order.
