So as expected, unlike promised! My mounts arrived today.

Apart from trying to move forward harder then it sounds actually, and get these fitted, will let you know when they are on. (Ps. Anytips for before and after review re mounts? For you guys i have them now )

Can't believe what i saw when i got the package. Complete and utter nonsense. Near two months after my order with lil to no updates. Over £200 spend. Nothing in return. No courtesy. Nothing for my troubles. 2 months. Customer service my ass.
Should read
"Awesome: at ripping the public off! (Suckers)"

Never Ever again. Will shout from high heaven. Even euros are better service then these leaves.
Stay away
Rant over, apologies

Just waiting for my oem dv and gfb and will book it in. Yay!!!

Mines a singular knock, and you cant feel it. Only hear it with radio off.

Hi did you find out what was causing the 3-2 single knock/clunk?

I need to try out this vcds reset you're all banging on about as it's probably never been done on my car.

Doesnt take long mate five minutes. The gearbox does some pretty scary noises throughout though!

I'm just being a lazy baskeet as ive done many ford software updates but you do need a good battery or on a charger so not to feck it up. That's the only reason I'm not touching it.

I too need to do a reset, but don't have access to a charger while it's running through it, nor the area to drive about doing the calibration afterwords

Got my mounts on. Finally. Took longer cause once the timing got thrown everyone else had to start juggling slots around and so on.

034 motorsports engine and trans top mounts on with 65 duro street inners.

The verdict?

Amazing. Solved alot of my gearbox issues!

Clunks and judders i once felt and heard, gone. Really. Unbelievable. Love it. @pesky

I had my lower mount changed the day before and even that made a huge difference to the gears!  Alot less sloppy changing and more instant.

Most noticeable way to gauge the difference you ask? When you turn the key for turn over.

Before when it felt like the engine moved around the key whilst it started, now it feels like the key is going into a solid stable engine and turning. No engine movement.

My old trans mount could be twisted in my hands so it really was in a state.

The car feels less comfortable now but not like a kit car or anythings. Just a smidge less refined then I'd like a gti5. Kinda like how I'd imagine a performance mk5 like r32 to feel (minus the 5 pot bit).

She's sweet as a nut round the bends now. And downshifts like she did out the factory. No waiting around for all parts to mesh together.

Ok ill shup now, but happy to help others with any questions as i know theres lots of gearbox issues with mk5s.

R

Thank you for the update and just what I wanted to hear as I'm looking into a set of upper mounts as I've got the lowers sorted now with the sub frame bushes being vibra technics and the new dog bone bush also the same. Can't wait to mate all these together.
