am pretty sure awesome gti and a robert (one of chap on here) said the Helix was better, but am sure plenty of people who have the sachs may feel different...

i need to ask the same question and carry it further by asking which is best LSD to go with one of the above clutches...

Backdraft in Milton Keynes will do it, PDT said they dont have time for work like this at present but as will be expending they may do at some point in the future. presume JKM, Jabba etc will be keen too...

No problems with the Sachs clutch here and I believe it is cheaper than the Helix.
There is quite a bit on this topic if you do a search.

I have used, fitted, bought, sold, driven both helix and sachs and no problems with either product. Most of our high powered stg3+ diesel cars we build/map use Helix.

I haven't had the same experiencevolume as PDT. I've had one sachs with SMF fitted with didn't perform to expectation.
After trying the Helix pedalfeel i have opted for that the second time around, due to it being lighter to use in everyday use. just my 2 pees

Cheers, Danish! Still doing research and, seeing which people are rating but, so far Helix is more popular  :happy2:

Just to throw another option out there, I have a SPEC clutch on mine and it's been great! One thing I would say is regardless of which clutch you go for, if you are planning on changing the flywheel at the same time I would recommended avoiding going with a single mass flywheel! Changing to a single mass is my biggest regret due to the clutch chatter that comes from single mass flywheel, I will be changing back to a duel mass at some point in the future!

I think I may go for a Sachs Clutch kit and run it on the standard DMF!! Not 100% but, 70% certain this is the route I'm taking  :happy2:
