....I've been rumbled!

Yes, but not with any malice. It's just a little frustrating trying to help someone if they don't say what their car is  :rolleye:

Well known tuners also have their problems.  According to some they don't..

My local dealer is pretty good, did a service on the Roc, and all seems to be good, service advisor detailed what they had done, what oil they had used, and handed the car back over to me.

They checked the car prior to and post the service for damage.

Also topped me right up with good coffee, and gave me my key back with a new key ring on, old one was tatty.

The dealer in the next furthest town is utterly shyte though!

Is your dealer the same 'group' as mine, QD - Loders?

Last time I had a problem, I called them and they were really helpful :) Might be worth a try

Sent them a copy of an letter i was planning on sending to them and VW UK in an email.

I;ve just got off the phone with the General Manager who couldn't apologise enough. He's going to getting everything sorted so this should mean my entire passenger side is sorted, scratch removed and scuffs and dents removed.

Also launching an internal investgation about how the brake fluid cap can be left off....

Calling me back Monday to get more details when service manager is back and then will book the car in asap....

Seemed very helpful and willing to sort out the issues.

Just a shame the Technicians aren't upto scratch.

Rigth well had the car independently reviewed - they went through the list and said the only thing that requieed attention was the Drive Shaft boot on the left (which was on the list)

The Front bushes are fine - not perfect though absolutely no reason to change them at all, no knocking or movement.

The rets of it was a joke as well. Pads and Discs have at least another few thousand miles left so "Requires Urgent Attention" is a little excessive.

Just waitng for the Service Manager to come back to me today with an update on their position.

FULL REPAIR......the Manager said he will take care of all the scratches and dents and also the scratch that was already there as good will...

Management seem very good, just the Technicians I suppose, pot luck getting a good one.

Might try windrush instead.

I went to the Windrush in Slough a while back after having my wheels fitted to ask about wheel alignment. They wanted 200 quid!!! Got it done at Protyre for £28.

I've been shocked at the appalling service I've received at VW dealers so far into my ownership. I thought Vauxhall were bad, but VW take the biscuit and spit in yer tea afterwards!
