Guide price for a set of Pescara's or BBS CH?
« on: March 01, 2011, 08:23:20 pm »
Firstly are the above wheels exactly or pretty much the same?

As I have an ED30 I really think I do need a set of Pescara's as like the car to look OEM sometimes as it came with 18" Monza Detroits is it as EU import.

I see Awesome Gti sell the BBS CH but want over £1k for a set and before I go on fleabay wanted to see what you chaps thought was a realistic price?

You need the VZ's they are closest to the peski wheel and look better because of the offset. They are also great value far cheaper than CH or peski's The ch do look great though.  :happy2:

If I were you I'd put an ad in the wanted section and offer a swap as the detroits are sometimes hard to come by and are coveted by many.

As TC has said the BBS VZ is the wheel to go for!  :happy2:

Watched a set of the detroits (sp) go for 544 on the bay last week. That's a big dent out of the new bbs rims :happy2:

X2

A far far better wheel than the Pescara.  Looks far better due to a very subtle increase in Track.

Couldn't agree more the VZ's are a great looking wheel and the silver finish is superb. Finding a set now is going to be difficult as these are no longer in production. I sold my set about a month ago and they have been the only set I've seen for sale for some considerable time.

ok cheers chaps will check the VZ out

Re I may sell Detroits/swap but they have been powder coated/sprayed silver to look like standard monza but wont be hard to take back to balcj as the winter grit/salt/stones have already taken some of the silver off so was going to keep as winter wheels BUT I do have some Zenith off the Octavia VRS too so could use them as winter wheels if could get some pescara/ch to swap...
