I've just bought a pair of Michelin PS3's to replace the absolutely useless Durun doughnuts currently fitted on my front wheels. I've also got two Ronal variety Monza IIs on one side of the car and two BBS variety Monza II on the other side of the car so I'll use this opportunity to get the same variety of wheel on the same axle. So new tyres on the back and move the used Conti SC3's to the front? I would have stuck the new rubber on the front but it looks like I may have presumed incorrectly? Cheers. ....For front wheel drive you should put the new rubber on the back. The rear of the car is lighter weight and grip is important. It's something which has been discussed here before and you will find that most agree, including the tyre companies.
