If we are talking VWs TPMS

This Maybe of some help
http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7677.0
and

Here's a bit more detail.

Basically it can be installed without cutting any wires you only need to run one wire from the swtich up to the ABS controller behind the battery.

The other connections can all be taken from the ESP swtich and using a combo of pre-made wires and a couple of connector housing it will look something like this: -

Wires taken out of the ESP switch into another connector housing

New loom reconnected to ESP swtich to "pick-up" the required power/signal's

All complete and looking OEM (other than I only had black cable ties and OEM fit is clear)

Not my photos there SteveP's of his mk6 but its more or less the same.
His has lots of options.
It had the adjustable suspension, Parking sensors, ESP switch.

The coding via VCDS is very simple and just tick boxes.

Slightly off topic, but what could you use the other blanks for? On a mk5 without the fancy suspension.
Standard: Rear parking sensors, Parrot Bluetooth
Retro fitted: MFSW buttons, RCD510, Boot pop, Black Monza II, Xenons, Audi jacking points, open fog light grills.

The kit I got has a black plastic plug connector and then 3 grey wires (not connected in ) with no instructions on what order they go in ! I was expecting a plug and play loom for the switches then connect the 1 wire to ABS unit + re - code.

Any info ?

You need to remove 3 wires from the ESP plug, then you insert them into the plug supplied. The 3 wires on the loom go to the ESP plug

ESP Plug
GREY Wire (pin 3) - Remove and fit to pin 1
BROWN Wire (pin 6) - Remove and fit to Pin 3
BLACK AND BLUE or BLACK AND GREEN (pin 4) - Remove and fit to pin 2

Just in process of fitting , can anyone confirm which pin the wire to ABS controller needs to be in ? On the loom wire it says pin 07 , but in Germany instructions says Pin 27 / Pin 41 ?

Many thanks

I have a mk5 Gt tdi 4 motion on 05 plate if this makes any difference ?
