Note the Air is now the entry level portable Mac. £849 for an 11.6" laptop

I think they still need something around the £600 point tbh.

Definitely - I don't think it is a lot to pay at all to be honest...

It's a fairly significant upgrade, and remember, prior to Snow Leopard these updated were at least £100.

For me the changes to Mail are worth the money alone.

Lovely update. Currently running Safari in full screen mode. Taking full advantage of the MBP screen size. Mail in full screen is nice too, very iPad in look and feel. The Auto Save features will be great once i have updated all the other apps as well. Mission Control is awesome. Much better than spaces/expose in the past.

It takes a while to recreate new indexes, then its blistering. Wait till you get used to the full screen apps and mission control. Its revolutionary.  :happy2:

Mine was downloaded in 26 mins (30MB BB). Takes about 30 mins to install (Dependant on HDD size) and then after that voila away you go.

I've been using Lion on & off since DP1 and went solo with the GM. It is definitely a good improvement over SL :happy2:
