I find the inertia aspect pretty good once you get used to it... it certainly makes browsing long documents and websites quicker.

Personally i don't see the point in upgrading the software to then try and make it more like the previous version.

You may as well save yourself £21 and stay on OS X 10.6.8.

Thanks for that article robin... I've not managed to reduce the size of the font in the sidebar of finder and mail (bugged my since i upgraded)

Actually, I made a mistake about not liking Inertia - I have it selected in Snow Leopard and like it.

I'm not advocating trying to make a Lion into a Snow Leopard, but just passing on info which some folks may find useful/helpful, or not.

Many of the more hardcore Logic Studio users (mostly music professionals depending on it for their income) won't upgrade any new OS until absolutely necessary. But many of those guys have a Mac solely dedicated to running the music in the studio and no other Applications, not even email.
