Rob

Might have missed a post between here and VAGOC but have you got the interior setup sorted yet.  Let me know what you've got and maybe I can collect them from you again.  :happy2:

....

Is changing the interior bulbs something which VCDS is needed for or is it something I could just ask my dealer to do on a next workshop session if I supply the bulbs?

.... You clearly don't know me very well

But, joking apart, I assume from your answer that the swop over to a different type of bulb doesn't throw up the necessity for any adjustments due to such things as resistances or other electrical technicalities which go beyond my knowledge.

No you should be fine Robin, don't turn on the ignition while the bulb holder is empty and that should make sure you don't get any bulb failure warnings.

Some of the LED's setup contain the required amount of resistance to deal with the bulb failure device and keep you clear of warnings.

I got a couple of the number plate lamps from Rob last week and had a good chat with him.  The lamps to seem to be nice quality so I have no concerns in that direction.

Specifically which ones are you wanting to change?

....The interior 'downlighter' (aka map readers?) would be favourite and interior light activated by doors opening. I'm not actually aware of any other interior lights.

Exterior wing-mirror downlighters would be a cool touch.

Thanks for your info - Appreciated  :happy2:
