Newboy - South Devon GTi DSG
« on: March 05, 2011, 10:04:34 pm »
hi all
great site, been lurking for a while since started to look for new motor and found it very useful.
bought the second GTi we looked at, first one the garage owned wouldnt let me out for a test drive and the miles were wrong in the service book, very strange, to start with there was no probs with test drive but after i discovered the discrepance in the service book he got real cagey.

the second one we bought, spent one day looking and not looked back.
it replaced my old 2000 mk4 V5 that really has had too much spent on it in the last year and compared to the new GTi was a slug, it was the 150 version.

new car is stock from dealer, not what you wanna hear I guess.... :surprised:

passion as follows photography [Nikon], car, home av stuff...will be posting some shots when ive gone through the wax-up the new car process.

Hi and welcome.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Hi, welcome.

Like yourself I'm a new member and the proud owner of a new Mkv GTI DSG in Red..   I've only had it for about 4-5 days but is clearly one of the most impressive cars i've owned..
