Stiffer springs
« on: March 06, 2011, 06:31:34 pm »
Guys im looking for a bit of advice
i have the genuine scirocco interlagos on my golf 235/35/18 which stick out of the wheel arches and also cause rubbing :sad1:
what im looking for is a stiffer spring that does not give any difference with the ride hight as the ones that are on the car now(factory springs)
and i know that the ride will be harsher but i don't care and then when it comes to the time for new tyres i can get 225/35/18

any help would be great

also would it just be a case of changing the springs over and nothing else?

cheers

scott :happy2:

Same boat as you mate I'm lowered on coilies and put my roccos on as was getting ed30 front brakes on WOW wasn't expecting so severe rubbing ... So much so it fcuked my NSF lip wing up drove to awesome they highered up but still rubs slightly ... Offset of 41 doesn't help either but they do look superb on  :sad1: so prob a stiffer spring may help or 225's  :stupid:
