Is it possible to get a Parrot kit (CK3100) to work with the MFSW buttons?

If you get the parrot CAN kit, yes. Itll only answer and voice dial though - unfortunately it doesnt integrate phonebook etc into the RNS

I have a ck3100 on an MFD2 and all that works on the MFSW is the volume up and down (as it was wired into to work properly with Phone MUTE)

I've never heard of the Parrot CAN kit, where can I get one from?

Dead easy to fit. Just have to splice the Can- and Can+ wires into the kit

easy get the Evolution kit instead, no screen what so ever. But still control from the steering wheel.
Just have to have your Phone in plane view to see who is calling.

If you use a sony ericsson phone, you can upload your contacts to the device and have voice calling  too.
Voice calling does not appear to work with IPhone currently, not 3GS or 4. Will have a play after mine had the firmware upgrade.

Guys,

I have the Parrot CK3000 Evolution (the earlier version) working perfectly with my RNS-510 and the MFSW phone buttons. As said, I have the CAN harness and interface box fitted from quick connects (see photo below). It also works with both generation sterring wheels. I.e with one or two phone buttons, but be pressing a small switch inside the black control box. Beauty of this system, absolutley no cutting or splicing of any cables whatsoever!
Totally plug and play.

Works perfectly and sound quality is excellent. Voice dialling also works really well with my Iphone 3GS, or you can send voice tags over to the parrot unit.

As mentioned, the only thing it doesn't do is send the contacts over to the RNS so you don't have access to the "Telephone" screen on the RNS, but that's it.

If anyone is interested, mine is all being removed from the Golf in a couple of weeks to be sold as my new Rocco has been ordered with the factory bluetooth so mine won't be need any more.
