Nothing wrong with upgrading the brakes no matter what car anyone has, the GTI brakes are ok but uprating them makes perfect sense when 50 or 60 BHP is added.  :driver:

^^ indeeedie, if you have Country roads near by , that gives you the opertunity to use them, not so much for us town folk, where better brakes are less of a must fit :sad1:

Andy knows im only joking, i see him enough in person to know im just messing.

Are there any rules though against a handbag and the countryside :signLOL:

On a serious note, i know bigger brakes are a must, especially in the more rural area's.
When i visited uncle Knobhead a while ago to have my xenons fitted by the kind chap, i was in convoy behind redrobin, and on more then one occasion, robins sudden braking style , nearly made me have several brown trouser moments, and my Eddy nearly writing off Robins rear end :scared: :scared:.

The last time I followed RR, he seemed to fail to indicate or do so very late several times.  :stupid:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I so love kicknocks hill  :driver:

But it's a blackspot for nasty accidents and fatals :scared:

Going the other way at least means I don't kill myself lol
