Indeed, you can.  Part number is something like 1K3867440B4J4 and they're about £35 quid each.  Make sure you get half a dozen clips just in case you break or lose any taking your old bit of trim off.  Part number for them is 4A0853107 and it'll cost you about £1.50 for the six.   I've bought some for mine and have been meaning to replace them as they're peppered with dents where the previous owner has smacked them with the seatbelt buckle.

Red Robin posted a How To remove that bit of trim guide here: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,3968.msg60969.html#msg60969

Hope that helps!   :happy2:

thats great thanks for the will order up the part, seeing as you seem to know a bit about these things, on the drivers door can you get the part that holds the elec window switches and mirror switch, i imagine this bit is pricey?

The door handle/ switch holder is only about £14 off ebay. Mine was bost from previous owner so bought a new one, came from Croatia but does the job just fine.

JJ, is yours 3 or 5 door car? Am I right in thinking that the part you need is the silver trim that goes around the dash and onto the doors?
Only ask as Imay be replacing mine with the OSIR  carbon part soon, so could have some for sale, failing that wrapping it is a nice result for a good price, and a cool mod!

Do these come in different colours? I wanted to change mine too. After 5 years, they look knackered  :signLOL:

Alright Al?  Mine's a 3 door.  Yeap, them's the ones.  I've already bought some but thanks for considering me if that's what you were thinking.  I'm sure someone on here will have them off you if you decide to sell as they're not exactly cheap from the stealers.
