Your best bet is to buy some cheap genuine monza II that are slightly damaged or got white worm and then get the refurbed how you want.

  this should help  http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=726.0

Erm yeah I think 18's are the perfect size for Golfs, would consider others though. The replicas dont normally have black inserts and didnt really want to go down the route of having the powdercoated etc myself

They are exactly what i want.... although 1k prob bit pricey for me, was looking for a few hundred cheaper... thats why replicas would have been ideal

Great pics. If cant get these, not sure whether to get normal Monza's or go for the Audi RS4 alloys. Will be gutted if cant get them like.

It doesn't make sense to spend a few hundred quid less on replica's with inferior tyres, but ETTO  :happy2:

So which are your most favourite of the ones you've either got or had, Nathan The Rim King?

It's real close call Robin! The Gallardo's that Flora now has just looked so menacing, the silver black Monza's look so cool in the sunlight and look bigger than 18'' and the black Red ones just suit my car so well! I'd probably go with the silver/Black insert monza's but they do make my car look more like a GTI (not a bad thing I know, just an observation ) rather than an ED30  :happy2:

My faves of yours are the black with red edges. I didn't like the 'Gallardo's' at all (sorreeee). But the smartest are the diamond-cut black insert Monza's even if it's not Ed30-ish.

Custom TD's tempt you?
