Launch Control......?

keep seeing videos on youtube and hearing things about launch control on a dsg? any able to explain how this works? or how i get it to work on my dsg? :smiley:

start the car, turn the esp off, put into M or S mode, foot on brake pedal then rev the car to around 2.5-3k rpm then release the brake pedal and off you go...
Without traction power is nothing!

You should be able to bury the throttle and it won't rev to max.  If it does rev high then you know you've not quiet got it right.

mines is just a gti dsg not an ed30, will it still have it?

If your car does not accelerate to 3200rpm them you know your car doesnt have it.As far as im aware most GTI's do but a few out there dont.

Make sure the engine has warmed up otherwise it won't work
