MOT Advice...
« on: February 26, 2009, 11:20:57 pm »
My GTI is due its second MOT on Sunday (booked in for Monday).

I've had a chip repaired and the tyres seem ok, but are there any other obvious things I can check over the weekend?

Many thanks.  :happy2:

Thanks for the replies.

My rear plate is shorter as it's a 5 digit number and I'm using an American rear number, but it's standard space, size and correct font, so fingers crossed.

rather than crossing your fingers why not just use a legal plate?  :chicken:

or..at least put your originals on for the mot? then no gamble

I dont think it is illegal to have a short plate, as long as its correctly spaced, sized and font?  :ashamed:
