Exhaust manifold?
« on: March 14, 2011, 09:58:23 pm »
I'm doing my list of mods that I want to do and I've just realised that no one on here really mentions exhaust manifolds, I have replaced these on every car I have owned and always rate them but is there a reason why people are not using them? Do they even exist for the ed30? I've had a search to not really find much so could do with some help!
Cheers!
Jack

The manifold on a turbo car goes on to the turbo so is alot smaller than a normal manifold. also on vag cars the manifold is part of the turbo assembly so can not be changed without an aftermarket turbo. there are plenty of options for uprated exhausts from the turbo back :)

Not on all VAG cars, only the newer cars from the mk5 Gold on..

The k03 (standard GTI) and k04 (ED30, S3, mk2 LC) manifold are integrated into the turbo.
