Good afternoon GTIAIN,

I am fairly sure that the rear lights on the GTI are the same as any of the "Standard" MK5 Golfs, the rear lights only change for the Edition 30 and R32 the in terms that they are a tinted darker version.

As for prices I have recently called my local VW dealer to ask the price of the the D/S rear light cluster for the ED 30 and was quoted £62 INC VAT, as for the price of the whole set I dont know.

Thanks

Richard

2nd hand the GTI ones are worth less than ED30 R32 darkened versions. Brand new darkened version seem to go for £150 - £200 on ebay, the standard ones are worth less as they are more common and not used as an upgrade part, so maybe £50-£100 depending on the market. second hand parts are always hard to price!

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC

To Come...NQSBBK, highline CCM.

Do you have any pics of the Valeo LED lights do they look good on the Golf? And how easy are they to fit in the terms of warning faults for blown bulbs?

Sorry to hijack the thread  :ashamed:

Easy peasy to fit, 5 minute job, no fault codes either, just plug and play. Fit exactly the same as the standard ones and bulbs are taken out the same too.
Not heard of any of the LED bulbs going out either.
