I found this on another website.  I can see the theory but I guess it's more useful to the ill-disposed.

Tesco are now giving double the difference on your shopping if its cheaper at Asda or Sainsburys.

They even give you a nice little tool on their website to find out whats cheaper in Asda how good is that?

for this example I just searched for pringles, leaving things a bit vague means more results.


So tesco sell them at £1.99 Asda £1.00 making 99p difference. now double it and Tesco will email you a voucher for that amount £1.98 for those who can't work it out that means your tube of crisps has cost you 1p. Don't forget you get the club card points as well as the web site says.

Now things to watch out for I think pringles are on buy one get one free so make sure you only buy 1 tube. OK I know its not work trekking all the way to tesco for 1 pack of crisps but if you use their website to plan your shopping trip you can make a small fortune out of them well at least get a load of free stuff.

Now search for Cornetto and see what you get yep £2.50 in tesco and £1 in Asda thats a £3 voucher so free cornettos and £50p in your pocket.

Ok these prices are correct when I posted this so they may be different when you read it.

Once you have bought your shopping go to this site and enter your receipt details and email address and wait for your voucher to arrive in your inbox. print it out and take it to Tesco with your receipt from your shopping.

OK A few tips
Only buy 1 of the item if its a buy one get one free or a 3 for 2 as that will be taken in to account.
Try to only buy the stuff cheaper in asda on the same receipt to maximize your voucher, stick the cheaper in tesco stuff through on another receipt.
You can get up to £100 per month in vouchers and the vouchers have a life of 28 days. but you can use them to buy more stuff that is cheaper in Asda.
Make a list of your shopping with prices and before you put them in your trolly make sure the price on the edge of the shelf is the same as the price on the website.
