Fitting a gti exhaust to a diesel - worthwhile?
« on: March 18, 2011, 08:38:26 am »
I know a few of the diseaseal lovers on here have fitted a gti cat back exhaust. Were there many benefits for doing this or was it purely cosmetic for the shiny exhaust tips?

Reason I ask is I have one for sale and I need to find out if it fits a diseaseal and what the benefits are.

Cheers :happy2:

I fitted the ed30 back box to my GT TDI and it was simply for looks, no other reason. Didn't make any difference noise/performance wise. It was a bit of a pain having to clean the soot off on a regular basis though.
