Discs are the cheap versions like the rs4 2 piece discs, both are not directional and only have the one part number. 370mm disc is just daft in mho

8pots are popular.

There's no doubt theyll need to do something with 500bhp in a slippery shape around 1400kg with loose talk of 600bhp

Two reasons lads.

1. Doing it for looks/show
2. All the people that have sold the OEM setup are going for big power for track duty so will need somthing a bit bigger

A tuned TTRS will be going quite a bit quicker down the back straight of a track than a stage 2 plus eddy, and we are heavy, so brakes have a good task on their hands. They are fine at 360 - 400hp, a good improvement over the 345mm setup and lighter.

They would be the danglies on the lighter golf imo.

Dave Im gonna get two sets of pagid RS29's off you!

At Oulton track day Tom's standard set up was plenty good enough, and it's harsh on the brakes their, he was braking earlier than me, but i was testing mine to the limit, but also Tom was approaching a lot faster than me. As Pov says once the power is upped to around 500bhp, then they might be not be enough then.
Also you have to factor in that they are hanging round on forums, and weather we admit it or not most people read the same thing over and start believing it as gospel. + if your into modding your motor it doesn't mean you will stop just because it's worth 50k. Each to their own and all that. I would do if i was in that league.  :driver:

Happy Tom.  My Question was as to the Generic nature.  I am honestly very impressed by the anchors, and previously as posted have been less than impressed by Ed30 brakes.

as posted, Pads will be an addition should I ever map the car.

Jump in with Tom at the ring, you will see how capable it is on track in standard form.  I would like to have a go in a mapped one as it must be mental, in standard form the power is so smooth.
( think i need to stop talking about these cars. Going to end up with a bank loan at this rate.  :scared: )
