Forge Twintake, ED30
« on: March 19, 2011, 03:53:27 pm »
Im looking into getting the forge twintake for my ed30, just wondering is it possible to leave the oem engine cover on? (or even modify it to fit) and is there any issues with the MAF sensor?

cheers for the quick reply. Had my ed30 3 years now so its time to do some work to it. over the summer im going to be getting a blue flame tbe, THS intercooler, the forge twintake and forge bypass valve. then eventually a remap.  Any tips on how to squeeze some extra horsies out of my ed30?

I just chopped a couple of bits off engine cover and it fits fine. A remap will do for extra hp. Maybe add a high pressure fuel pump to your list :happy2:

I'm looking into getting one of these too, will this bring any lights on? Will it mess with my ecu as the car isn't mapped? I would just like some more noise really, I've found the kit for 288£ so may take the plunge, also will it help my mpg? Or get worse?
Sorry bout the hi jack

Where have you seen it for £288? Sure that's not excluding VAT?

Haha no problem, if they were available for that price I'm sure we'd all jump on it! I think one of the cheapest places online is Larkspeed @ £312 + delivery.

Any pictures of the factory engine cover off the car, I am curious to see how much damage is done to fit  :happy2:
