s3 intercooler

hi..is it worth fitting a s3 intercooler to a standard gti.i know the core is bigger,so cooling will be improved..what about gains,will it be noticable??
also the mk6 gti is fitted with the same one?(plastic tanks ,not alloy)

The new S3 I/C also has plastic end tanks  :stupid:

If you can get hold of a full alloy one then it's a good mod IMHO.

You wouldn't necessarily increase HP or Torque but you will make it less susceptible to heat soak.
