Not to sure what you are upset about. If you want to get that map get it, does it make the map better for being tested at Millbrook. it must be one hell of a special map if it can tell were the tarmac is below it.
At the end of the day it's your money, spend it on what you want.
I was merely saying that you come for advice but the majority only know Revo so dismiss all others as second rate. I was only getting the hump the same way I do about Apple Macs etc (way off topic) massively overpriced for something not that much better.
Being sarcastic about the fact I was impressed with the maps being tested thoroughly on a testing ground, doesn't really help me, but does help prove the point about dismissing other options. Why would testing at Millbrook not be good thing? If you know something that I don't then great, but for us newbies we need options and help to make these choices. Buying the most expensive option is not always the best solution.
Hedge is right, i am am normally more direct when in attack mode.
You are welcome to trawl through my many thousands of posts, and i will guarantee you will never find me ever slating other maps, even though i have Revo in fact on numerous occasions i have encourage people not to give up on superchip maps as after a bit of fooking around they often work well at lower level of tune. The problem with most advice on here or anywhere really, is we all don't like to think we make poor choices, so defend our decision's good or bad, and all clan together to affirm this. Which means its hard to get genuine advice.
With engine mapping their is less room for fook ups, a bad map ( could ) do a lot of damage to your engine, so even though Revo is costly and perhaps over hyped, it's fair to say that with so many members on here with Revo's code, its safe to presume that it should not damage your engine in anyway if installed properly. for me i would rather pay the extra couple of hundred or so, to not have to worry problems.
But as i said it's your car and your cash, if your happy with your research, go for it and post how you get on.
