Removing rear bumper valance?
« on: March 21, 2011, 06:07:44 pm »
I'm just wondering how to remove the unpainted part of the rear bumper as mines has popped out a  bit after hitting a mound of snow and I need to fix it. A guide would be great !

Any help would be greatly appreciated  :happy2:

Pretty easy.
Just take out about all 8 screws, (one in arch, and ones underneath,) and then pull it all off.
To replace it you may have to take the top part of the bumper off, as when pushing the tabs back in it flexes otherwise.

I have done it on mine but found that you have to take the rear lights off then the whole rear bumper. Sounds scary but was quite straight forward really. The plastic section is clipped on.
