The clips will be from the back of the fascia which goes around the RNS and AC controls

The top section needs to be pushed down as it clicks into place - you need to get the vent lined up properly so it sits back in flat.

The clips will be from the back of the fascia which goes around the RNS and AC controls <<< Checked these they are all there  :ashamed:

They are like a U shapped metal clip

as it clicks into place << You know where the two screws are that you take out to remove the lower facia......this is where the gap is. Should it CLICK/SNAP into place at these points? or at that little bit that sits above the head unit as above?

It snaps in below the screws ie into the fascia plate itself

Have you got a snap of the clips? I only had one of these off the other day

Push down firmly on the top cover and it will snap into place

As for the clips, they might be from where the fasia clips into as this has a variety of clips on it

Yep, they do indeed look like one of the many clips that go around the fascia.

If it doesnt clip into place "apply more force", works every time.

top vent panel has plastic spade looking ends at the front both sides, locate  these into the front first and then drop the back end in(nearest the windscreen) its acts almost like a hinge.
Went in for a Landy came out with a GTI, mid life crysis? me :-)

Sorry for the poor effort.....but this may help

Should the surround CLIP/SNAP into place in position A, B, or C?

and an important note......the yellow line where I have run the thin GPS cable from the RNS.....is this how you guys have done it? could this be the problem? as it didn't seem the get in the way?

A on the picture

Ah the cable is probably getting caught. Run it up the back, storing all the excess behind and locate it under the top vent
