After fitting blueflame TBE.......

My car isn't running that great, gutless after 4.5k revs and doesn't pull! It has a giac map and forge CAI, could this be down to lack of fuel? I have an autotech HPFP sitting waiting to go on this week. Hopefully it's just that. I've not driven it since. Just to be safe. Any ideas?

Coilpacks,Sparkplugs or Diverter valve mate? Shouldnt affect the car after fitting Tbe zaust :smiley:

Check the lambda sensor wiring wasnt damaged during the install and that everything around the intake/engibe cover has been refitted propery such as AFM

Agreed, power drop or lack of shouldn't be due to a blueflame

The engine management light came on and then went off so hopefully it has stored a fault.  Sorry for sounding daft but whats an AFM?

Eee aww. Should of guessed that one. Just went out and checked and a few off the wires into it have been damaged. You can see the copper. A likely cause?

Possible. They could be shorting together. Get some insulating tape on them as a temporary fix (tape each wire separately)

Thanks for the advice  :happy2:. I'll get that done tonight, hopefefully it works, cause im missing the car, its been off the road for winter, had only used it for a few weeks since  :party: :party:

The proper fix will be to either buy VW repair wires, and solder/headshrink them on, or cut them at the damaged wire, crimp new terminals on and insert back into the plug

I would probably go with the first option, as you wont see the repair as its covered by trunking  :happy2:
