Does anyone have any photos of legal tints on a gti ?

Quite fancy getting it done but no idea how 30% light allowance would look ?

Hmmm, yeah mine aren't blue ! I think that was on early models

I don't want front and rear windows different shades

from my experience you wont be able to go darker on the fronts. 90% of decent tinting places wont touch them due to the funny laws. I bet they have some kind of tint on maybe not the blue.

Almost all cars these days have slight tints to the windows.

The VW one was originally blue for the MK5 but they changed to green for costcutting.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

The best way for tints IMO is 50% on the front, it's noticeable but not enough that police will pull you over, I had 50% front and 70% back on my polo which looked very smart and will be doing so on the geetai!

My ED 30 has the factory rear privacy glass & i think that makes the front window tint look darker.
ED35. Standard factory condition.
