Do LED bulbs not create a warning light on the dash?

How does one navigate around this, can this be overcome using VAGCOM?

Most now have on board resistors which prevent this. I have LEDs in my no plate and side lights with no errors or bulb out lights.  :happy2:

I've bought a set and have got them. Really good service. Going to be fitting them on the weekend, is it a case on just pushing them in to replace the normal type?

ahh cool, thanks, makes things a bit easier! I assume these would fit in my Scirocco, as its pretty similar to the Golf?

Also, can these be used in other areas of the car e.g. wing mirror puddle lights and interior footwell lights? or do the interior lights use different bulbs?

Scirocco has w5w holders like sidelight bulbs unlike the golf which has festoons

The link is on the first page steve with the discount code  :happy2:

They don't flag any errors. You must ensure they are fitted the correct way, as LEDs only work one way round, so before you screw the holrs back up, pop the bulbs in and check they work!
