Fuel Flap Release Switch in Chrome?
« on: March 25, 2011, 04:24:45 pm »
Hi all, does anyone know of a switch (and part number) of any available chrome tipped switches for the fuel flap release within the VAG group of vehicles please.

Thanks in advance

I tried this for my Mk5, didn't seem possible at the time so I left it.

This may have changed though.

Been looking around for this as well... and came across this.

It's apparently for the MKIV's (Golf's up until 2004), but LOOKS the same as a MKV switch no? Anybody wanna give this a try?  :happy2:

I think you can get the part (or could when i was looking), i forget which model its from but i was going to do it to the Golf but never did as it meant taking the door card off.

It is totally different, will need to be butchered to try to make it work

The pivot point is much lower and the inside is different.
Also I can't get any info on etka, must be ristricted to the chinese market only so don't know what plug would fit it
