Parrot Ck3000 evolution Volume issue
« on: March 25, 2011, 11:25:22 pm »
Hi all,

I've got a Parrot CK3000 evolution hands free kit but I'm really not impressed with the low volume.  It cranked up to full but on the motorway it's not great. Does any one have any workarounds which have increased the volume?

I also have a MFSW, how hard us it to get the buttons to work with the handsfree?

Thanks in advance

Depends how it's been connected to the hu

If it's on the proper tel leads, then the hu will amplify the sound so you can up the volume on both the parrot and the hu

That would be why then

Im guessing your music doesnt pause - instead the parrot just cuts in over the top and directs the audio through the speakers

Its a bit of chopping involved, plus a plastic housing and three repair wires from VW....nothing a few hours wont fix

where abouts are you based?

I'm going to check mine in the morning as to whether it mutes or pauses the HU...I suspect I already know the answer..

How much are the necessary leads?

Under £10.

Just requires a bit of manual intervention to get it sorted.

Brilliant, thanks Alex!

I'm liking the sound of this. Can you post up the details of the parts needed/supplier and guide etc? I have (rather sad) RCD 300 at present...

Is it simple enough for a dummy like me to undertake?
