RNS510 and VBR MP3's
« on: March 26, 2011, 01:13:08 pm »
Has anyone else noticed that on the RNS510 with VBR MP3's there is no 'time remaining' displayed and that they do not resume playback?

They play fine, but is this normal?  :scared:

I'm using v2760 firmware.

Yes its normal. Probably because it can't estimate the length of time as the bit rate may change

Thanks, that's what I assumed the issue was.

Although, surely they could have included that support for VBR files if they really wanted to!

Normal and doesn't bother me.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

It's a firmware bug.  Is fixed in 3810 upwards
