Alloy Nuts
« on: March 28, 2011, 12:48:39 am »
Apologies in advance if it's been asked previously but unfortunately couldn't find an answer..
previously had 17" alloys but recently upgraded to oem 18" CH's but unfortunately they didn't come with any bolts..will my original bolts be ok..if not how do I know what size to get as they do seem a bit small and where's the best/cheapest place to source some from?

In the menatime will I be ok driving car on short journeys?

Thanks

If by ''orginal'' ch alloys you mean the ED 30 pescra alloys then ''yes'' they will be fine BUT if there the BBS ch alloys you will need correct wheel bolts.

.............i would speak with one of the places that sell after market wheels mate, give them all the info about the wheels (numbers on the back of the rims etc) & they should be able to give you the correct sort.
I'm shure if you don't have the correct bolts for the type of alloy you run a very high risk of the bolts coming un-done while driving  :scared:.
