Searching for a good wheel wrench that won't scratch my rims when I use it,like the cheap arse VW one in the boot. Once I have one its off with the rims and a right good caliber clean.
I was also going to apply some new wax I bought but the ebay seller has let me down. Been waiting nearly a month and it was supposed to take 3 days.

I will be...

Possibly wet sanding my headlights if I can get my hands on some Plast-X

How do you mean bumper inserts? Youll need to take the bumper off to fit the headlights as two of the mounts are down below the bumper level!

As for coolant flush...if its filled from factory its filled for life so you shouldnt need to flush it

Alex,

If I had know yesterday you were after some Plast-X i would have given you a bottle as I bought another in error at the start of the year.

I'm going to remove the bumper when i fit the headlights as there are a i also need to fit a new valance due to Badger related incident last night! :sad1:

Filled for life if its genuine VW coolant! If its cheap rubbish, then it needs to be changed

Most of the time it gets changed when the waterpump is done on cambelt change anyhow

Coolant was last changed 18 months ago when the cambelt was replaced and there is nothing to suggest G12+ Coolant was used. I have 4 bottles in the garage so thought i might as well change it just so i know proper stuff has been used.

Thanks to a crushing hangover everything i wanted to get done on Sunday don't happen. I've not been out drinking since last year so maybe a 9am-10pm session while watching Rugby with 15k others was NOT a great move for me.

It was a great game thou.
