help fitting rear valance

Ok lads,  removed the rear lower bumper to colour code, thing is tried to fit this evening and it just wouldnt clip back in,

is the a trick to doing it?

top section of the bumper just keeps moving inwards as i try to press in lower part...

HELP!!!

Hi mate,


Had the same problem last week...

The best thing to do is remove the top part of the bumper too so you can push on the opposite sides and it should clip in without fuss.

It only takes an extra 20 mins, you need to remove the rear lights to gain access to the four bolts holding it in. There's then 4 bolts on each side on the inner arch as well and it should just slide out. You then have to unplug the license plate connector which is at the bottom right hand side.

Thanks pal,  i was thinking i would have to take the bumper off alright.. it was driving me crazy earlier trying t get it on..

And i just fitted parking sensors too so will have to disconnect them too..

Will give it a go tomorrow evening..
