Wrong Can Gateway

I have an RCD310 and an old F gateway which would cause the battery drain. Though I use the car everyday so not had this happen yet.

Question I have is are there any other benefits to having a newer gateway (even a K...Alex  )

Any other problesm they cause etc.

The newer gateways also add support for additional features as new tech gets involved in the cars.  As for the difference between the F and K gateway I dont know but there could be some additional functions.

Newer Gateways (K onwards) are whats known as 30 byte gateways and allow more options to be specified on the CAN Gateway thus allowing greater upgrades in the future

Thats Central Electrical Phil. CAN Gateway is merely the comms network

Im gonna have a look at cornering at the weekend. Ill PM you with more info

K is a great update to F 

only want to spend about £25-£30 so yours is a bit steep for me Alex  also as the drain is not affecting me then can't see any other reason to upgrade atm
