Better reception on the BT
« on: May 07, 2011, 09:19:21 am »
I have the RNS-510 along with 729B fitted and the reception is very poor. I have also fitted the Sharkfin with Telephone reception in it and has a box that appears to be located in the rear of the car.
Question is, what else do i need to get the Handsfree plugged to the antenna so i hopefully will get better reception on my BT??  :sad1:

Over the top mod list ;o)

The 729B doesn't use an external aerial as it uses HFP it relies on the phone to get it's own signal as far as I am aware.

Only the premium bluetooth kits (rsap kits) use the aerial.

That's a bit pants.

If I went for a skoda/oem BT kit to use with my iPhone 3GS, is there anything I could do to boost the reception?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
