1-removed badge from mechanism
2-flattened and primed mechanism then colour coded
3-primed boot badge( this is 3d type from a mk4)
4-painted new badge black
5-covered badge in carbon fibre 3m wrap
6-re-fitted badge to mechanism (grip adhesive )
