Now arrived (after much lurking and looking)
« on: March 23, 2011, 06:18:22 pm »
You've been a great help while I spent months looking for my GTI.  I'm already planning smoked chrome powder-coating for my wheels and I'll be taking it in for its free coil packs soon.
And let's settle this now - shadow blue is definitely the fastest colour.  I see plenty of all the other colours, but the shadow blue ones go so fast you hardly ever see them!

Shadow blue DSG 5 door with leather, sunroof, 18" Monzas, MFSW.
Full list of mods:  Seat inserts and a VW bottle opener.  Each worth 20bhp.

Welcome

The truth is, tornado red is without a doubt the fastest colour.

Hi and welcome.

Red is so slow, it needs the Tornado in front of it to make it seem fast. It's still slower than a VW Fox!

Good luck with your search!  :happy2: :happy2:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

And he must be referring to an obscenely modified VW Fox with a W12 powerplant in it  :signLOL:
