Yeah standard shocks... i take it its ok to run these springs on standard shocks?

Yes, no problems with standard dampers, they work really well for fast road. You might get some bounce at high speed as the damper would have been designed for a full length spring like a Pro Kit rather than a Sportline but the match is pretty good. I whacked them on a Pro Damper which is not far off the standard GTi damper - if you ask Eibach/Sachs.

I only changed my dampers as it was no extra labour cost on top of doing the springs, so did both at the same time - oh, and my damperssprings had done 100,000 miles, they get a bit saggy after that.

Silicone based spray is kinder to the bush and lasts longer than wd40 :wink:

Don't use WD40 for rubber !!!

Use silicon spray.  :wink:
