RNS510 Bluetooth Question
« on: March 30, 2011, 07:45:06 pm »
Does anyone know if a 3C8 035 730 A will work with my red highline display in my ED30?

I've done a search but couldn't find this part number.

Thanks

Dan

3C8 035 730 A ?   3CO 035 730 is a Passat Part No. They do work as I have the C version working in mine. although when I press the set key for the secret menu it says a 1CO part no

That is the number that is on the unit, it's out of a 60 plate Skoda Superb.

Does yours work with the red highline display?

My bad reading i read that p/no as the RNS :ashamed: That blue tooth no is on some of the the other golf forums if you do a search but they seem to be in the Mk6. Morty and VR stu will probably know the full story.

Just found this little bit.

Ok thanks.

So will it work fine with my version b RNS510 and will it want coding?

Is it true you can buy the wiring that's needed separately, does anyone know the cost and part number?

Thanks

Dan

As said above, Unless you have a white MFD like the new golfs etc, it will not work on the dash

The Red MFD requires the 729B revision of the bluetooth else it will not display on the screen.

It will still work just not display on the dash.

Provided you can live with it on the RNS only then go for it.

For the loom Kufatec may supply.
