GT TDI 140 MAP Q's
« on: April 02, 2011, 10:47:09 pm »
Hi
I am wanting to get my GT TDI 140pd mapped, i have been quoted 180+bhp and around 300ft lb torque by a reputable Revo franchise.

My issue is that they say the turbo on this model is not the strongest and have experienced some going "POP" post map ! do i take my chances?

YES or NO  (any 140 owners had this)

Advice welcome  :happy2:

On the early models the turbo was a weak point, mine went at 35000 miles on the clock

Its just turned 76k, no evidence of it being replaced. Guess i'll just take my chances. Either way its getting done

Whats the damage on replacement ££

Me too, its a dilemma. R-tech's website shows that they are using Revo software, so Awesome is much nearer for me and if owt goes wrong(please no) they are pretty much on the doostep.

Plus as you say as a regular customer you can achieve some good discounts too, which is always a BONUS !!

99% Decided on Awesome.
