M is just another revision between L and N

M is a GEN 3 and you will need to change wires over, and it is a MIN version
I had the C version originally and changed to L
make sure it ends Z04 although I have a jetta version in mine mx4

Right I have put an offer in for a Jetta controller 701L MX4 which is stated as right hand drive its from the same seller I got the C module from so I have pulled at the heart strings to see if he will do me a deal, he was also quick at posting and I could do with the part before Friday as Im moving house and could do with the use of the car!

Thanks all for your help Alex Eddie and Golfman.  :drinking:  Also Darren as usual has been top with information  :drinking:

Right offer accepted paid via paypal based on previous experience should have the part tomorrow fingers crossed this will be the last time the driver door panel comes off, otherwise I might have to start replacing worn out trim parts  :scared:

Yes it was, why do you know him?  or just searched ebay?  He is sending it out today so should arrive tomorrow and I can get it fitted tomorrow night.  It was based on your part number that I searched for Jetta ones very much looking forward to putting looking at door control modules behind me  :rolleye:

Ahh in fairness he has been good with communication and postage and accepted best offers, just the description on the c module but seems etka is responsible by superseding part. Thanks for your help Eddie  :happy2:

So new Jetta module in last night and all just works as it should!  didnt even need to get the cable out and despite what people say the fold is sufficient to bring them in in-line with body panels so very happy  :jumpmove: 

Just need to give the dip on reverse some attention now assuming all the new modules and mirrors support it  :scared:

Hi Rich

You won't get mirror dip on reverse.

To get that working you would need

1. Mirror with memory motor
2. GEN 3 Door controller (hence why Golfman sold his GEN2)
